Lisa | East Side Portraits

An East Side Portrait Session. I loved this session! We went around Milwaukee’s East Side looking for pockets of light to create beautiful and powerful images. But that wasn’t the only reason I enjoyed this session. I loved it because I got to spend the afternoon with Lisa. She is a beautiful example to so many women! She’s a lead pastor at a local church in Mequon, WI and works to empower people love them. She wanted pictures that showed who she is. And these images are how I see her; full of strength, wisdom, and beauty. I met her shortly after moving to Milwaukee and am so thankful I did! Lisa my go to person for most things. I hope you have an opportunity to meet Lisa one day and learn from her experience. She’s someone I look up to and I thoroughly enjoyed working with her!

A Milwaukee fresh 48. It’s not often I get to do a newborn session at the hospital. But there’s something so precious about capturing those first moments as a family! Only a couple hour after Ingrid was born, I arrived at the hospital camera in hand. I love the details, the tiny feet, the laughs…
