I remember being so stressed planning a wedding and choosing a photographer whose style I liked and whom I could trust- how did I know if I’d like how they shot my wedding? And l knew people who didn’t like their wedding pictures. So instead of hanging up or in albums on display, they sat in a drawer or in the back of the closet as if they didn’t exist. And I didn’t want that for myself! And nor do I want that to be your experience!
And that’s why I personalize the experience to you. I get to know you, help you relax and be yourself, so that the experience is stress free and you walk away with pictures that are authentic to you. And if you think you’re not photogenic- you’ve probably had the wrong people taking your pictures (can I say that?). About Me
It’s all about creating a personalized experience so you can relax and have authentic pictures. I love people and so getting to know you is a highlight of the process for me. In order to do this I only take on a limited number of weddings per year. And if you’re interested in getting to know me, here are a few random facts from my life.
-I drink black tea (with milk) like most people drink coffee
-I like to run and might be slightly addicted
-We bought my 2 year old a fish and let her name it Krank
-My life is endless quotes from The Office
-I love taking getting ready pictures because it allows me to really get to know people
-I enjoy reading, especially if I’m also eating chocolate (please send me all book recommendations!)
-We brew our own Kombucha (and enjoy coming up with creative names for each batch)
-When I’m not photographing weddings I work as a pastor to college students
