The day they got engaged, Jeff and Gina were walking along the shore of Lake Geneva. “We went during a cold and misting day in October and took a walk to one of Gina’s favorite spots. After making our way back, Jeff got down on one knee and asked Gina to marry him. She had no idea and was shocked.” So sweet!

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Jeff and Gina during their engagement session and spending the day with them for their wedding. They are the kind of people who are always thinking about others! Even on their wedding day it was clear that their friends and family were a priority. They were a group of people who knew how to have fun together and looked out for one another.
Jeff and Gina had their ceremony at Old St. Mary’s Parish in Milwaukee. It’s a beautiful church that hold significance for the couple as they have attended since they started dating. Having not seen each other before the wedding, it was wonderful seeing Gina walk down the aisle! Her face was absolutely glowing with a huge smile and laugh on her face. And watching Jeff see his bride for the first time that day was so good!
After the ceremony, and saying hello to friends and family who made the journey, they hopped on a bright red trolley and headed to Walkers Point. We took pictures at Reed Street Yards Park, the same place where we did their engagement pictures, and a nearby alley. I loved these pictures in the alley because all of the ladies had such elegant dresses on! Matched with the brick wall it was a gorgeous combination that emphasized the classic, elegant style that was Jeff and Gina’s wedding. There’a something elegant and timeless about long black dresses and this bridal party pulled them off beautifully!
We then headed to Ivenhoe Pub and Eatery. I love bar stops in the middle of wedding days as the bride and groom get to relax with their bridal party and really be themselves. No pressure, no forced smiles, just them having a good time. From there it was off to memorial hall. Cocktail hour, delicious food, toasts, and finally dancing! The open dance floor was packed!
One of the details I loved from their wedding was their wedding favors. As well as Grazie paperweights, they tied in (from their heritage) an Italian Wedding Tradition. “Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat. To remind us that life is both Bitter & Sweet. Five wishes for the new Husband and Wife: Health, Wealth, Happiness, Children and a long life.”
Jeff and Gina, thank you so much for having me as part of your day! I loved working with you guys, Gina you are stunning, and I’m excited for all that’s ahead for you both!
