My love for newborn sessions has grown over the past two years. Tiny fingers and toes, big yawns, and exhausted but adoring parents. There’s maybe nothing more tiring, yet nothing so beautiful as having a newborn. So much compassion and strength (accurately represented in Hannah and Arwen’s shirts) goes into parenting, and Tyler and Hannah have both in plenty. I have no doubt they will love this child and raise her well. The beginning of a journey they will take together; learning, growing and loving.

And every once in a while, ever so briefly, I get to step into a couples life and capture what you see here, helping us remember the beauty of this time. When diapers are done, we’re finally able to sleep, and there are no cries to be heard, these are the moments we look back on and cherish.
