A Sailing engagement session on Lake Michigan. I think if I could do every engagement session on a boat I would! Ben and Haley grew up sailing, Haley was on the sailing team, and they would sail together during college. It seemed only appropriate that this is where we would photograph their engagement pictures. We met up with some of Ben and Haley’s friends and headed out onto Lake Michigan with Milwaukee in the background. It was a warm, crisp, early summer evening. The sun was bright and setting, the breeze was blowing, and the boat rocked on the water. I loved not only photographing Ben and Haley, but stepping into their life and seeing a piece of who they are, meeting some of the people close to them, and hearing stories of sailing together. You couldn’t choose a better group to sail with!
