What is better than a newborn session? A newborn session with a dog! I loved photographing this family! In the few short hours I spent with them, It was clear how caring Ashley and Mike are. They are the kind of parents you meet and know instantly that their little one is going to be so incredibly loved and cared for. Having a newborn is hard! It includes a lot of hard work, sleepless nights, and the a new kind of selflessness. But I don’t doubt that these two are going to do it well.

We ended this session with pictures of Mckinsley and their dog Harley. It was adorable seeing Harley investigate this new addition to the family. As she laid their wide-eyed, he was so gentle as he sniffed and tried to figure her out. I left this session with my heart happy to see this new family. Congratulations Mike and Ashley! Your daughter is beautiful and you guys are going to be amazing parents!
