Without a doubt this was a beautiful, eloquent, Minneapolis Wedding. On a perfect, Sunny, Saturday afternoon, Noah and Kelsey said “I do” at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. It was a beautiful ceremony complete with unique elements such a chocolate ceremony in place of a unity candle and such personal and emotional vows written by the bride and groom. And I can’t talk about the ceremony without mentioning the lovely memorial and locket remembering the groom’s mother. Everything about the ceremony was beautiful! And you can read more about this wedding at the bottom of this page.
After the ceremony we went to the Rose Garden at Lyndale Park Gardens- across from Lake Harriet. It was a BEAUTIFUL backdrop for Noah and Kelsey’s pictures! The trees were unique and they twisted away from and created the perfect frame for the bride and groom. Of course you can’t forget maneuvering our way around kids with hammocks and people reading on the docks :) But the beauty of the the trees wasn’t the only reason for this location; this park was one Kelsey frequented as a kid with endless memories of running, climbing and having fun. I’m glad I got to be a part of it all as it comes full circle-when one day Noah and Kelsey will bring their kids to play among the very same trees.
The Reception was held at St. Paul College club and was such a unique and awesome place! From the lights and corn hole in the yard to the unique table markers created from plays Noah and Kelsey have done, the reception was beautiful! And to top it of, the first dance was picturesque. As Kelsey danced with her husband for the first time and they spun across the dance floor, you couldn’t help but smile at their joy. Noah and Kelsey- Congratulations on a beautiful wedding and on an even more beautiful marriage to come! I was honored to be apart of this wonderful day!
