On a warm fall evening James, Emily and I headed out to Pope Farm Conservancy for their engagement session. As we were there I heard the story of how they met online, realizing later that they grew up in the same neighborhood. And I heard about how three years later James got down on one knee at the overlook here at Pope Farm. I can imagine the snowy day as they were out snowshoeing at the time, and the smiles and embraces that happened. So here we were, a few short months before they were to get married, taking pictures among the sunflowers. And this is why I love engagement session! I get to meet some pretty great people, hearing their story, and finding out what makes them laugh. James and Emily- I loved this session and I loved your wedding even more!
